Gold Aurene...an evolution in iridescence!

Gold Aurene is one of Frederick Carders' most recognizable an apprecitated glass types.   Gold Aurene production started in 1903 and was being made until color production stopped in 1932.  The irridescence of gold aurene evolved from a silky gold hued glass into a brilliant, almost glossy gold sheen glass.  Gold Aurene can be found in a myriad of different shapes and variations as shown in the pictures below.
