With over 16 green colors listed in Paul Vicker Gardner's book "The Glass of Frederick Carder", sometimes added qualifiers are needed to distinguish the greens that show up with no definitive name. The vases shown below are in a green that was produced on early shape numbers at Steuben with documents only calling it "Green". The definitive "Early" is given to help distinguish it from other unidentified or un-named greens. This green does not fluoresce under black light.
